Oklahoma Baptist University swimming and diving hosted its only home event of the season on Thursday at the Shawnee Splash Park.
The Bison competed against University of the Ozarks, St. Gregory’s University and Tabor College.
“It was a unique meet for OBU because it was outdoors,” said Head Coach Sam Freas. “I think the new swimmers and divers did a great job overall.”

The OBU swimming program swept the tournament, suceeding on every event.
Women’s perfomance impressed in the individual contest as sophomore Carleigh Sullivan won the 200 medley.
Junior Suzanne Afchain came out first in 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Freshman Victoria Fonville also finalized on top in both the 50 and 100 freestyles.
The 100 breaststroke went to sophomore Miriam Avila Martinez while junior Faith Moss finished first in the 100 butterfly.
Vanessa Garay, Leslie White, Moss, and Sullivan won the 200 medley relay.
The men’s team shared the women’s sucess.
Individual winners were junior Nicolas Brun in the 200 medley, sophomore Felipe Ramirez in the 100 backstroke and senior Julien Goyetche in the 100 butterfly, while freshman Josip Miskovic led the pack in the 100 breaststroke.
The 200 freestyle relay went to Drew Dickson, Nolan Price, Marc Sambolin and Kritijan Stunkovic.
Daniel Brown and Chad Brondon won the 100 and 50 freestyles respectively.
Junior Alex Mundt finished first in both the 200 and 500 freestyles.
